The ORF Impact Manager develops and leads the monitoring, evaluation, research and learning for the Olympic Refuge Foundation as well as leading the monitoring, research and learning for Social Development through Sport at the IOC
Monitoring, evaluating and learning
Develop Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning Frameworks for the Olympic Refuge FoundationDevelop Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning Framework for the IOC Social Development through Sport.Support the implementation of plans to track programme impact and allow for continuous learning.Provide remote monitoring and evaluation support and technical expertise to programmes as required.Coordinate targeted research to further learning on key areas for the Olympic Refuge FoundationDevelop a collective impact approach or other fit for purpose approaches using mixed methods to measure contribution of sport for social development.Monitor and evaluate the Olympic Refuge Foundation at organisational level.Monitor and evaluation the delivery and implementation of the IOC Social Development through Sport strategy.Ensure ongoing collection of monitoring data and tracking of these data against targets outlined in M&E Plans.Report evaluation findings and recommend changes to enhance the programmes and strategic direction, as appropriate.Present reports in a succinct way that helps communications and policy making.
Cross Functional roles
Support the development of partnerships with other institutions to maximise collective impact of the Olympic Refuge Foundation and IOC Social Development through Sport.Support the organisation and coordination of meetings, including ORF, Executive Committee Meetings and IOC Commissions.Support the ORF fundraising efforts by providing evidence-based program information, introductions to potential funders and creating opportunities for new funders.Promote the Foundation’s visibility and welfare through participation in relevant meetings, events and forums that are aligned with its mission and vision.
Training, language and IT competences
5+ years of professional experience and a Masters level qualification or equivalent in impact, monitoring and evaluation or a related field, preferably within a development context.Demonstrated experience working on collective impact.Demonstrated experience effectively facilitating key stakeholders through participatory and collaborative processes.Solid experience with office management systems.Excellent oral and written skills in English and French. Spanish is an asset.Ability to travel as needed.
