Directly reporting to the Global Menswear Product Director, the Head of Sport is responsible of the Sport Performance Business (Men/Women/Accessories) for the Collection Merchandising and Product Development. He/She works closely with the Design and Retail Merchandising teams, for the collection management and product definition. He/She also works closely with the Sourcing team.
• Product development:
✓ Define the Product and Merchandising strategy for Sport PERFORMANCE in coherence with the Global Men Product strategy and top management.
✓ Contribute to the sourcing strategy and supplier’s allocation.
✓ Set up the Seasonal Merchandising Brief in collaboration with Design and Retail merchandising teams, the Global line plan, pricing strategy in line with the Global strategy.
✓ Define the product specification and responsible for the development of the products in collaboration with the Sourcing team.
✓ Responsible for the final editing and pricing in order to achieve the margin targets.
• Collection Merchandising:
✓ Define the worldwide product initiatives in collaboration with Retail merchandising and Design teams.
✓ Define the Global pricing strategy in collaboration with Retail Merchandising.
✓ Build up sales force training tools.
✓ Monitor KPI’S: number of references/ Margins/ UP/ Productivity/ Commonality/ Sales performance.
• Sponsoring :
✓ Define the Product strategy in collaboration with Sponsoring team.
✓ Facilitate the connection between Sport Federations and Sponsoring team.
✓ Drive Special operations: Olympic Games/Roland Garros/Ryder Cup/President Cup.
• Resources & Budget:
✓ Define the resources and budget needed to achieve the objectives.
✓ Manage a team of 6 people (Product Managers/Technical Designers)
• Process & tools:
✓ Contribute to improving internal tools, process and end-to-end calendar
• Internal coordination with:
✓ Design team
✓ Production team
✓ Marketing team
✓ Retail merchandising
✓ Regional and local teams
✓ Sponsoring team
