We’re looking for a BRAND PLANNING +OPERATIONS DIRECTOR, EMEA NORTH + PARIS. Based in paris, this role is a MARKETING CHIEF OF STAFF, for the Marketing team. You are right in the middle of the strategy for the most exciting and coolest sports and innovation brand in the world. WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON

You will direct and lead all planning and operations for our team! Your role is to lead brand planning and aligning ahead so the team has the resources and team alignment to plan and execute. You also will be a key collaborate with finance, membership, with marketing procurement and legal to ensure smooth marketing operations, in execution and wrapping up / presenting + sharing findings. As BP lead Paris/North, you will also be part of the EMEA Brand Planning team, working closely as a geo functional team on many dimensions. A TYPICAL WEEK INCLUDES

- Strategic marketing planning and reporting effectiveness. This role drives the planning the marketing work and “concept map”, 3 to 12 months ahead, for digital, membership, above the line, partner marketing, around key innovations. And then reporting effectiveness. - Matrix management. Not everyone agrees, and everyone has priorities . You will align the best brand plan by meeting with partners (internal mainly) to align strategic plans

– categories, accounts, business leaders. - Collaboration: Collaborating with project owners, but also with procurement, finance, legal, partnership marketing, and membership team to connect and ensure projects are planned, executed and wrapped up perfectly. - Sharing the news: Hosting internal communication meetings to highlight great work and results, and findings, to inform and inspire the wider business teams. - Life outside the office: e.g. going to EHQ to share thinking, get better process or alignment, or going to marketing event or marketing agencies to research and get inspiration from other sources. You are the “chief of staff for Marketing”, so you are connected to everyone in marketing and an inspiring partner to the whole business (300 people). We are lot of people, and we all need you for: - Project management. We have 60+ marketeers in the office, who are planning + executing breakthrough consumer marketing – both digital and physical. - Planning the work to drive the business. Some of the main partners are the city strategic planner and finance a lot, but also the marketplace development team and the Nike direct membership/digital team. - Leading one direct report by to coaching, driving and inspiring his/her work. - Partner with brand planning directors across the world Geo, speaking weekly, meeting quarterly and really having a network of planners.

- Minimum of 8 years' total experience in a corporate environment doing marketing/brand management. - Corporate matrix management. Experience and confirmed ability to handle corporate matrixes. - Project management expertise, financial management of campaigns to obsess and hit KPIs (digital, membership, emotional metrics). - Consumer insights management skills + Strong analytical skills with experience in gathering business results and applying insights to support decisions. - Project management + Direction. Able to lead multiple projects and initiatives while driving accountability on day-to-day operations - Proficient in English, written and spoken. - Travel – estimate 3 days a month international travel.
