Rhythmic gymnastics coach

Finnish Gymnastics Federation is looking for the

to work with the Finnish National Team Juniors (group). The coach will also be working with the Senior National Team (group) as part of the coaching team.

For the last 10 years the Finnish Gymnastics Federation has been investing in the rhythmic gymnastics groups and wants to strengthen and develop the way of young junior gymnasts to the Senior National Team in the future also. Olympic Training Center “Urhea – kampus” is being built in Helsinki and will be ready in June 2021.

The coach´s main responsibilities will include:

Head Coach of the Finnish Junior National Team (group)Working also with the Senior National Team (group) in close contact with the current head coach and coaching teamWorking in national training camps and with younger gymnasts according to the national training systemMember of the coaching management team with the national team coaches and officials of the Federation

We expect a good knowledge of rhythmic gymnastics coaching and passion to work with the groups. We expect a good leadership skills and teamwork. We expect an understanding of the international level of gymnastics.

You have high level of communication and co-operation skills, positive and professional attitude.

You will be able to communicate in Finnish, English or Russian. In case of knowledge of Russian, we expect, that you are committed to learn Finnish and English.

The start date of the work is to be agreed and includes a trial period of (3) months. The position is seen as part of the long-term strategy and exact job description might be modified according to the skills and experience of the applicant.
