About the job

We are recruiting a Bid & Business Intelligence Associate.


As our Bid & Business Intelligence Associate, you would lead our effort working with team members across AIM to develop winning, innovative proposals including Tenders, RFIs/RFQs/RFPs; developing presentations for the sales team to pitch; and writing reports and white papers.


You possess excellent writing skills and are able to effectively communicate with and integrate information as diverse as legal context, budgets, and technical solutions into a proposal. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about our products, bringing innovative ideas and sales insights to create compelling value propositions in new proposals.

Requirements

Experience and Requirements

  • Excellent native English written language skills. Command of another language will be considered a bonus (e.g. German, French, Italian, Spanish, or even Russian, Arabic, or Chinese)

  • Demonstrable analytical skills and good understanding of fundamental economic and financial basics

  • Ability to work well to tight deadlines and motivate others to meet deadlines

  • Initiative and ability to work independently

  • A proactive mindset that enables you to act, work, and think independently

  • Previous tender/sales experience beneficial, but not essential

  • Digitally savvy - excellent MS Word and PowerPoint skills

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in English Literature, Business, Legal, Marketing or similar field

Description

Duties and Responsibilities

Analyse Request for Proposals (RfPs) and coordinate the planning and implementation of the proposal process
Responsible for the writing and development of tender bids, related business intelligence research and analysis, and authoring reports
Initiate relevant research efforts for new proposal information
Support sales team in preparing for any client interactions e.g. creating sales pitch presentations for tender bids
Responsible for calculating and allocating proposal budgets
Work closely with the sales team to support scouting and research for new potential tenders and support the continuous development of new templates and bid materials


You should have a highly intellectual and curious mindset, yet ability to think in a structured manner, maintaining a fine appreciation and respect for creative work. You have good business acumen reflected in qualities such as persistence and initiative. And most importantly you are able to produce jaw-dropping work – time and time again.
